The least preferred mode of transportation is trains, especially for farther distances of traveling. We want our audience to reignite their spirit of adventure, and spontaneity, with a new kind of train ticket that allows for some new adventures, near and far.

New Amtrak App Feature

Instead of a one-way, or round-trip ticket, answer adventures call and take a last minute trip on your day, weekend, or week off. You can choose your level of spontaneity by either planning the trip yourself, or Amtrak will send you a packing list so you won’t know where you’re going till you step on the train.
